The first annual NZ Booklovers Award winners have just been announced, and all three categories were won by Penguin books!
Here are the winners:
This Mortal Boy by Fiona Kidman took out the Best Adult Fiction Book 2019.
Better than a Bought One by Jo Seagar nabbed the Best Lifestyle Book 2019.
Puffin the Architect by Kimberly Andrews won the Best Children’s Book 2019.
This is the first year the awards have been held and there are six books shortlisted in each of the three award categories. Other Penguin titles to make the shortlist were:
Best Lifestyle Book:
Eco Home by Melinda Williams
Flourish by Juliet Nicholas and Barb Rogers
Wild Delicious by Amber Rose.
Best Children's Book:
Hero of the Sea by David Hill, illustrated by Phoebe Morris
Who Stole the Rainbow? by Vasanti Unka.
