David Astle

David Astle is the author of two novels - Marzipan Plan (1986) and The Book of Miles (1997). His shorter fiction has appeared in such places as Picador New Writing, Behind The Front Fence and Heatwave; and his feature articles in Sunday Life and Inside Sport. He co-wrote One Down, One Missing, an inside account of the hunt for the killers of two policemen, which was published in 2003. He lives in Melbourne, composes cryptic crosswords, and can't hit the road without his family for another two years.
