Robyn Bavati

Robyn Bavati was born and raised in Melbourne but lived much of her adult life in Israel before returning to Australia in 1999. She has run English conversation classes for non-native-speakers, taught creative dance in schools and worked as a shiatsu therapist.

Robyn's published work includes feature articles and humorous anecdotes for Israeli magazines and newspapers and the Australian Jewish News, as well as an award-winning short story. Her popular first novel Dancing in the Dark was a CBCA Nobable Book in 2011. She lives in Melbourne with her family.
