The Bouncing Ball

Deborah Kelly grew up in New Zealand and Australia but has also lived in Scotland and Japan. She studied Marine Biology at James Cook University in Queensland but has always been passionate about art, film, books and writing. She wrote her first series of picture books (which she still has) when she was seven. Deborah now writes stories for children of all ages as well as Haiku poetry which has been published in various forms. She lives with her husband and two children in New South Wales, Australia.

Georgia Perry is a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Art Director who is based in Sydney, Australia. Georgia’s work spans a broad range of media, from illustration and animation to photography and installation. The Bouncing Ball is her first picture book.
