About the authors

Sue Whiting

Sue Whiting is a former primary school teacher who now works in children's publishing. In the last ten years she has written more than sixty books, ranging from picture books and nonfiction to chapter books and novels for upper primary. Some of her more recent titles are Freaky, Taming Butterflies, The Firefighters (illustrated by Donna Rawlins) and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. She lives with her husband and two children in a small village south of Sydney.
