As part of our (Penguin Random House New Zealand Ltd) My Favourite Mistake Competition, 1 lucky entrant will win a trip for two to Waiheke Island (valued NZ$3500 in total). 

The prize comprises:

•	Travel for two adults to Waiheke Island from AKL, WLG, DND or CHCH + return trip (up to NZ$1000 in total) 
•	Two nights’ accommodation (one room, two people) on Waiheke Island (up to NZ$2000 in total)
•	1 x dinner for two at a winery or restaurant on Waiheke Island (up to $500 total)

How do I enter? 

1.	Enter our competition by: 
•	Ordering/buying a copy of the trade paperback version of My Favourite Mistake by Marian Keyes from an NZ retailer
•	Going to the competition page on our website
•	Fill out the competition form in full, including a valid proof of purchase of My Favourite Mistake
•	Entry must be received within the designated promotion dates

2.	Entries are open from March 1st 2024 until May 5th 2024

Who can enter?

3.	You can enter our competition if you are a New Zealand resident. If you are under 18, you need your parent or legal guardian to enter this competition and accept these terms. 

4.	Unfortunately, you cannot enter if you are an employee of Penguin Random House New Zealand Limited or any of its suppliers or competitors.

What are the conditions of entry?

5.	By entering our competition, you agree to these competition terms and our Privacy Policy (https://www.penguin.com.au/privacy-statement). When you enter, you assign to us any intellectual property rights you may have in your entry. 

6.	You can only enter our competition once and you must use your own name. We will ignore any unauthorised entries or entries with incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information. 

How will the prize be awarded?

7.	We will draw the winning entry randomly by computer at our Auckland office (Smales Farm, Ground Floor, Air NZ Building, 74 Taharoto Road, Takapuna, Auckland 0622) on May 6th 2024.

8.	We will notify the winners by email during the week commencing May 6th 2024. We will also announce the winner or winners on our website (penguin.co.nz) and social media channels by May 13th. 

What are the conditions of winning a prize? 

9.	If your winning entry is selected, you consent to us publishing your name and winning entry. You also agree to give us any documents that we ask from you so that we can verify your eligibility to enter our competition. 

10.	You acknowledge that:

•	you cannot exchange the prize or take it as cash;
•	you are responsible for all expenses not covered by the prize (eg, meals, drinks, transfers, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs);
•	you are responsible for ensuring that you and your nominated companion are fit to travel;
•	we do not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury you or your nominated companion suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize;


11.	You acknowledge that you forfeit the prize if you do not accept the prize within 5 calendar days of us notifying you as the winner and do not redeem the prize within 6 months of you accepting the prize.

12.	You acknowledge that we will not be responsible for any prizes that are lost or damaged during delivery, and that we may also suspend, cancel or modify our competition for any reason. 

13.	You acknowledge that the laws of New Zealand govern these terms and that you irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
