Chris Kennett
Book for an event
Chris Kennett is a Victorian-based illustrator who has been creating weird, wild and wacky characters for over 25 years. He has worked across several creative fields, including animation, where he helped to bring Andy Griffiths’ The Day My Bum Went Psycho to life. He has also helped to create over 70 books for children ranging from early readers to chapter books.
He is best known for his monstrous creations with Sally Rippin in the global hit series School of Monsters, and for his work on many Little Golden Books based in the Star Wars universe. His most recent projects have included Stories for the Kid Next Door with comedian Emma Holland and Coastal Clues with award-winning author Amy Doak.
When he’s not at his desk drawing, you can often find Chris enjoying a coffee and spinning a record or two while he dreams up his next creations.
