Eric Heisserer began to write screenplays in 2000 when he sold his first feature script to Artisan Entertainment. In 2008 he wrote A Nightmare on Elm Street for New Line Cinema, followed by the prequel of The Thing for Universal and Final Destination 5. His latest feature, Hours marks his directorial debut. Shaper is his first graphic novel.
