Gordon Marino

Gordon D. Marino earned his bachelor of arts from Columbia University, his masters degree in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, and his doctorate from the University of Chicago, Committee on Social Thought. Marino was research fellow at the Kierkegaard Biblioteket in Copenhagen for three years. He is co- editor of the CAMBRIDGE COMPANION TO KIERKEGAARD and author of KIERKEGAARD IN THE PRESENT AGE (Marquette University Press). Marino's essays have appeared in the ATLANTIC Monthly, New York Times Magazine, Wall Street Journal and many other periodicals. He is currently Professor of Philosophy, the Boldt Distinguished Chair in the Humanities, Director of the Hong Kierkegaard Library, and assistant football coach, at St.Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
