Kate Percy took up marathon running in 2004 and has run many half marathons and cross-country races, as well as full marathons in London, New York, Berlin and Amsterdam. She writes columns on energy-boosting food for Running Fitness magazine (circulation: 25,000; readership: 70,000), has a blog and a website at www.gofasterfood.com. She contributes recipes and nutrition information to other fitness websites including www.realbuzz.com. She was one of only 20 running bloggers worldwide who were chosen to trial the new Salomon trail shoes when she ran the Three Peaks race in 2008.
