Charlotte McConaghy is the author of the New York Times bestseller Wild Dark Shore, which was longlisted for the Stella Prize and the Women’s Prize for Fiction, won the Indie Awards Book of the Year for 2026, the Dymocks Book of the Year for 2026, the ABIA Literary Fiction Book of the Year for 2026 and the ABA Adult Fiction Book of the Year for 2026. It was also a Reese’s Book Club Pick and Amazon’s Best Book of the Year So Far for 2025. Her previous novels are the New York Times bestseller Once There Were Wolves and the international bestseller Migrations, which was a TIME Magazine Best Book of the Year and the Amazon Best Fiction Book of the Year for 2020. Her books are translated into more than 30 languages and are being developed for film and television. She lives in Sydney with her partner and two children.
