About the author

Joe Wilkinson

Joe Wilkinson is an award-winning comedian and has been a fixture on our television screens for the best part of a decade. Making regular appearances on shows such as 8 Out of Ten Cats, Have I Got News for You, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Taskmaster – he is regarded as one of the finest and most surreal comedians on the circuit.


As an actor, he has starred in hit shows such as Him & Her, Miranda, Derek, Afterlife, Sex Education and he co-wrote the series Rovers which was aired on Sky One. He is currently starring in the sitcom The Cockfields on Gold which has been re-commissioned for a second series in 2020. His stand up shows have won over audiences up and down the country and he one half of the iconic sketch duo Two Episodes of MASH with Diane Morgan who have appeared on Radio 2, Radio 4 and Live at the Electric.


Described as a cross between Jack Dee and Stewart Lee, Joe is one of the countries most adored and absurd comedians, combining surreal flights of fancy with hand-knitted comic charm, he is a peerless voice in British comedy.
