The fifth book in the Pippa's Island series is the most adorable story yet!

Life can be hard when you’re crammed into a tiny caravan with your noisy family. Pippa’s looking forward to moving into their new home above the Beach Shack Cafe, but it’s taking forever! Money is tight, too, and Pippa has her eye on a gorgeous new swimming costume.

Luckily, Pippa has her Sassy Sisters to help. Together they come up with a plan to make some cash: Pippa’s Perfect Pooch Pampering! Before long, Pippa has her hands full with adorable but pesky pups.

What could possibly go wrong?

Praise for Pippa's Island 5: Puppy Pandemonium

There is something completely joyous about these stories. Each resonates with themes of friendship, kindness, positivity and simple pleasures. No wonder they have been such a hit with readers. Highly recommended for readers from around eight years upwards.

Sue Warren, losangzopa.wordpress.com

With its theme of just appreciating the pleasures found in friendships and simple things, and reflecting the lives of regular kids, even those who don’t live on a tropical island, this is a glorious series for girls who are independent readers but who are not quite ready or interested in the contemporary realistic fiction that features in many stories for young adults.

Barbara Braxton, Teacher Librarian, thebottomshelf.edublogs.org

Each story is sure to have widespread appeal for middle-primary aged children, particularly those with a creative flair. It touches on the struggles facing tween and early teen aged children, including the art of maintaining friendships, dealing with jealousy, feelings of anxiety over family issues and finding happiness in a new home. I really enjoyed this title as an adult and found the glorious setting, authentic characters and their positive mindsets a real breath of sun-drenched, tropical fresh air.

Lisa Hoad, Reading Time

Belinda Murrell writes a charming tale filled with friendship moments and simple plot complications that will be enjoyed by young female readers . . . A gentle, careful reflection about the small things that can unsettle us becomes a very readable story about life and growing up.
