Praise for Surf Dreams

...Morrison writes beautifully, gently teasing out of his subjects, some of them rock stars in the Kiwi surfing world, what surfing and their turangawaewae mean to them, and what their values are. He also works in the lay of the land, or rather seascape, and the natural features that can make a certain break so special, even legendary. His writing reads like a love letter to Kiwi surfing, and it's that unadulterated passion that makes Surf Dreams a wave worth catching.
