Why readers LOVE Lottie Brooks: Real Reader Reviews

In their own words, younger readers review their favourite Lottie Brooks books and why they love the series!

The Extremely Embarrassing Life of Lottie Brooks

"This book is TOTALLY worth reading. It is aimed at people who like drama, action, tween life and BUBBLE TEA. This book hooks you in and makes you want to read more. I think this book is really great for kids aged 8+. Lottie is always getting herself into very embarrassing situation's, but no matter what happens Lottie’s kind, funny and crazy personality always shines through!"
— ISLA, 10 years old

"This book is definitely a ten. It is just incredible. All the description and silliness is amazing! It made me feel like I was standing in the book right next to Lottie herself. Katie I love you and I hope you keep on adding more books into the series of Lottie Brooks ❤️"
— MAEVE, 10 years old

"THIS BOOK IS SOOO GOOD!! I seriously think its my ALL TIME FAVE. This book has so many good lessons: Don't change yourself for others, and don't be friends with people that are mean just because they are cool. Its a perfect gift for any girl, anyone who reads it will be laughing after a minute or two. Katie Kirby is seriously awesome!"

The Catastrophic Friendship Fails of Lottie Brooks

"I love Katie Kirby’s writing style and the cute little pictures in the book. Once I start reading, I can’t put her books down and even stay up late reading—sometimes when I’m supposed to be asleep! I would recommend this book to girls who want to read relatable stories with characters just like them and their friends.I would give this book 10 stars and I am counting down the days until I can go on Lottie’s next adventure!"

The Mega-Complicated Crushes of Lottie Brooks

"Lottie Brooks is officially AWESOME. I just love Lottie, especially how she is her naturally weird self, that has made me realise I shouldn’t care what people think. She always makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face, that’s exactly the reason why I love Lottie Brooks."
— GEORGIA, 10 years old

"The reason I love The Mega-Complicated Crushes of Lottie Brooks is because I love how it is a diary and it is funny but Lottie is having a lot of boy drama’s. I definitely would rate this book five stars out of five stars and I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading funny, quirky and adventurous diaries."
— EMMA, 9 years old

Lottie Brooks's Totally Disastrous School Trip

"This book is a super funny and entertaining diary about everything relatable for tween/tween girls. When I'm reading and I am meant to be silent I always find myself laughing out loud. They are funny, entertaining and I am always hooked and can never put it down. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes Dork Diaries, Sweet Valley Twins, or is a girl who loves a diary that is relatable and a little crazy."

The Majorly Awkward BFF Dramas of Lottie Brooks

"I have read ALL of the Lottie Brooks books so far and The Majorly Awkward BFF Dramas is one of my absoloute favs because there are HEAPS of “LOL” parts. I love how Katie Kirby wrote the book and the simple but eyecatching illustrations! I also love how some pages are like text messages! This was such an enjoyable read and I recommend it to other tweens and teenagers (and adults too!)."
— DEIA, 10 years old

"I liked the Lottie Brooks series, specifically The Majorly Awkward BFF Dramas of Lottie Brooks, because it was very funny and I laughed A LOT. I couldn't put it down and when I did, I had to pick it back up again!"

Lottie Brooks vs The Ultra Mean Girls

Lottie Brooks is great for tweens and teens, it’s fun and enjoyable and of course it’s absorbing and just amazing. I think that this was a great book because I loved the rap, the friendships, I loved how Lottie and her friends came back from the fight. The book is a crack up I’d love to be Lottie’s friend."
