Ten years of making kids laugh

Jeff Kinney reveals the title of Diary of a Wimpy Kid 12.

Millions of kids around the world are readers because of Wimpy Kid, and we think that’s cause for celebration! And in 2017, the hilarious Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by bestselling author Jeff Kinney is celebrating 10 years.

In an exclusive with Associated Press, Jeff revealed the title of the next Wimpy Kid book. The twelfth book in the series will be called Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway

The Getaway will find Greg on a holiday to a resort, although what's billed as a stress-free vacation becomes a holiday nightmare.

“Ten years in, I’m having a blast. I’m as excited and energised about these books as I’ve ever been, and I think The Getaway is going to be one of the best Wimpy Kid books,” says Kinney.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 12: The Getaway will be available worldwide on November 7, 2017. Read the full Associated Press article here
