Dr Chris North is an academic at Cardiff University's School of Physics and Astronomy. His research work focuses primarily on Cosmic Microwave Background experiments - particularly the space-based Planck satellite - and is responsible for coordinating UK-wide outreach activities for the Herschel Space Observatory. He is also a member of the team behind Chromoscope - one of the most popular online astronomy applications.
