Elizabeth

An intimate portrait from the writer who knew her and her family for over fifty years

A personal account of the life and character of Britain's longest-reigning monarch now with an additional chapter about the coronation of King Charles III

This is the intimate biography of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II, which tells the story of her remarkable life, reign and times, based upon unrivalled access to royal circles and from a perspective unlike any other. Gyles Brandreth writes the Queen's tale candidly with grace and sensitivity as someone close to the monarch, her husband Philip and the wider Royal family.

Told with a refreshing dose of humour and moving honesty, Elizabeth is the must-have biography of the longest-serving monarch in English history, now complete with exclusive content about the 2023 coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
