"I am happy and relieved to say I adored this debut novel. It was refreshing to read about a woman in her mid 40s stumbling through the everyday, and not so everyday, dramas of life with a hormonal teenager, demanding job, changing body, fresh divorce and other daily life stresses..." @angiereadsnz (full review here)

"...the synopsis intrigued me (you all know I love a book about a female character finally saying “f**k it” and remaking her entire life lol). I found it to be an easy summer holiday companion and ended up whizzing through its 350 pages in a single day..." @uncoolgirlreads (full review here)

"...It’s one of those books that manages to be both heartbreaking but also humorous, and I can totally see why it’s getting so much attention. It’s also a fun book for word nerds...I loved that both characters were so obsessed with language, and I definitely learnt a few foreign words I didn’t know!" @whatchrissiereadnext (full review here)

"...Although I'm not a married or a mother, it was easy to step into Grace's shoes as she flashed back to stages of her life & recent events- the big life-altering event is slowly unravelled throughout this, and was a truly shocking twist 😱..." @storyofmyshelf (full review here)
