Ockham New Zealand Book Awards 2025 Longlist

The longlists for the 2025 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards have been announced.

We are delighted to share At the Grand Glacier Hotel by Laurence Fearnley has been nominated in the fiction category while The Mermaid Chronicles: A Midlife Mer-moir by Megan Dunn and Unreel: A Life in Review by Diana Wichtel have been longlisted for the General Non-Fiction award.

The Ockham New Zealand Book Awards are the country’s premier literary honours for books written by New Zealanders. The shortlist of 16 books will be announced on March 5. For more information, see the New Zealand Book Awards Trust website
